Hard-boiled gumshoe Eddie Valiant lands a plum job as Gary Cooper's bodyguard while Coop scouts locations for his next movie - a screwball comedy titled Hi, Toon! I enjoyed listening to the narrator, L. J. Ganser. He brings the whole book to life, playing the different parts with different voices. An excellent noir detective work with laughter and fun mixed up in perfect puns.
