Short different classic story

Enjoyable and a quick listen. I did find that the narrator although not bad was quite bland. Still listened to it more than once.

Fantastic book

Oh! What an incredible story! It had me wanting to keep listening and made me sorry it ended. I like the narrator's voice but his style takes a bit of getting used to.

Excellent follow-up to Call of the Wild

Would you listen to White Fang again? Why?

Yes - classic adventures like this get better with age; additionally, we forget details and enjoy re-reading good old stories.

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Fang?

When he was last rescued from the fighting ring, and puppies in California.

What does Alan Munro bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Very good enunciation of different characters, and proper levels of emotion and excitement at the right times in the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, only about 100 of them.

Any additional comments?

Highly Recommended audible version of a classic story.

White Fang

Story, of course, is excellent. Narration, however, is distracting. The reader stresses words at odd and inappropriate times, as if there might be punctuation where there is none. Unfortunate for such a good story.

3rd Grade Reader

If a below average third grader was asked to read aloud, it would be smoother than this voice actor. Horrendous. I can’t believe this person was hired, and paid to read this wonderful book. The producers should be ashamed.

A bit too much base...

There is a little too much bass in the recording. Makes it a little hard to understand sometimes.
But I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it.

found a way to counteract the narrator

I speed it up to 1:20 speed and told myself that the story was supposed to sound like it was being told by a wolf.

White Fang

Adventurous, passionate, but also thought provoking. Jack London certainly has a way with his words.
