Brillant historical novel about world war 2

The story of a Jewish and a Christian family living in the USA during world war 2. Many issues are explored from a Jewish and Christian perspective in a warm, convincing and imaginative way, emphasizing the common ground of the Old Testament and the character of God. A very good read which makes the book hard to put down. Historical detail is well researched and fascinating.

I always enjoy Lynn Austin books and I enjoy listening when I am driving a long distance and I really enjoyed this story.

this book was a book I could not stop listening to, the oratory was fantastic , she read the book so very good thank you to the author as well for a true story xxxxx
