Listened to this book to and from work, walking the dogs and never got bored. I even rewound a couple of times. Highly recommended it.

This was a brilliant account of the author’s thru hike, well written and really funny. The narration by the author was excellent. Listened to it over 2 days. The detail makes you want to hike the trail but also not hike the trail! Would recommend to anyone in need of inspiration and a laugh.

Fantastic book. Well written and well read. Enjoyed every minute of it. Funny and keeps to a good pace throughout

I loved the tale of achievement, foot pain, insect anguish and bowel movements. Getting to know the characters and situations described in a way that made it feel like we are there. Not sure if it’s a downside or a character trait but the narration carried the same erratic multi tempo as the writers adventure. Overall.... if you like tales, you’ll love this one.
