Summary

Do you know what it feels like right before lightning strikes? How you can feel the current running through your veins? The trembles of warning that ripple through the air? It was a thrill Tamar King chased all her life, until it became the very thing she had to escape.

For the last four years, Tamar has hidden herself in an isolated world she created. She was safe. No one could touch her - until Lyrik West, the lead guitarist for Sunder, walked through her door.

Lyrik's life has been devoted to his band, and that success has cost him. Bitter, hard, and filled with regret, he refuses to lose himself again, but from the moment he sees her, he wants one night with Tamar King. The gorgeous bartender is more than he bargained for. Their attraction is consuming. Their desire overpowering. With one touch, they ignite. But is it worth the cost of getting burned?

Contains mature themes.

Total Shock to Every Emotion

Everything! This fabulous story has everything to bring you to tears, stir desire, warm any heart, and leave anyone longing for a love just as strong as their's! No emotion is left untouched by the beautiful words A. L. Jackson brings to life and the narration is perfection! Andi and Sebastian are fantastic, each in their own right but together........there are no words!

I am truly an Audible Addict! It is very rare for me not to be enthralled in a book 24/7/365 for the past several years! I truly should buy stock and see some kind of return on my outrageous investment. However, this is TRULY the best of the best! This IS my most favorite of the Literally Hundreds of books!

Where Lightning Strikes will electrify your soul and leave you praying to be struck again!

Addicted Book Butterfly

Loving These Rocker Bad Boys!!

I enjoyed this book but Holy Baggage! Tamar has a huge secret that is making her run and making her isolate her self from everyone. Lyrik carries around a major guilt for his actions in the past and it makes him think he can never have a relationship. These two are a huge ball of angst! The love story, the drama, the secrets and watching these two characters shed their baggage was awesome. After the 1st two books in this series, I can say I was a little let down on the heat in this book. Yeah there is sex and it's hot but not nearly as much as I was expecting. Can't wait for the next book!

Narration.....HELLO what do you think LOL it's Andi & Sebastian....Perfection!!

ANDI & SEBASTIAN ARE POWER PERFORMERS

WOW....all I'm saying is that there are surprises, twists, and turns and maybe a few tears.

The whole band is here. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely worth the credit.

Slow and Boring

Hard to slog through this book. Even Andi and Sebastian couldn't help, the dronning and whining was nonstop. I've learned to not totally believe the Audible ratings, (usually at least 1/2 a star too high), but these ratings were so glowing that I took a chance. Lesson learned again.

A phenomenal audiobook!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? I would recommend this audiobook to everyone!!! Such a poetic and dynamic audiobook! You can't but be captivated and spellbound by the magical words of A.L. Jackson!! What other books might you compare Where Lightning Strikes to and why? A stone in the Sea and Breathing to Drown! They are in the same series! Plus its all about BAZ!!!! What about Andi Arndt and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like? They both did an exceptional job! Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? Yes!!!! I've been waiting for this audio release!

Loved the book and the narration made it better!

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York killed this one! I read the book and devoured it. The audio version was the same for me. These two reading a good dual POV is the best thing on Audible.

Lots of dialog but small on plot and action

Thankfully this was a single book where we got to hear Lirik and Tamara’s story. The character development was good but totally focused on them with the exception of a little more explanation into the lives of the other band members in the past. Lots of foreplay and flirting before the actual deed and then some hot scenes. It would have added to the book and the series to have had a bit more interaction between Tamara and Shay and between Lyrick and the rest of the band. You see some between him and Ash but not the rest and yet he and Sebastian also shared a long history . Also halfway through the book the author once again started with the triple word punctuation that was so very annoying in book 1. And just as horrible in this book. No, no, no, love, love, love. She needs an editor to stand strong and delete it. Both their individual stories are tragic and tied up in very bad choice made while teens. Miraculously they pull themselves together but you have to wonder what the physical ramifications will be as they age and if AAA and possible more rounds of rehab aren’t in the future for at least some of the band members. Adding that to the struggles would have been more realistic than just skimming it over and implying there no longer is a problem because one band member is jailed and another eventually dies. It is an opportunity missed. The narration was great. It moves the band story from their teens and early 20’s through their late 20’s and into their early 30’s. Hopefully Ash’s story will indicate some maturity and growth with age.

Best in the series so far

The author has come into their own in this book. This is the best in the series so far. Sweet, sad and heart wrenching. Well worth the credit. Narration was very well done.

Lightning Strikes a Winner

The 3rd book in A.L. Jackson's series and the 3rd to be narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York - and the best in my opinion.

Andi and Sebastian deliver a superb performance in this rendering - building up the suspense of A.L. Jackson's words.

There is just a little something extra when it comes to an audiobook, as opposed to just the written word, and this audiobook doesn't disappoint.

Looking forward Wait...Austin's story and the continuation in the Bleeding Stars series.

So Much is Revealed

There is so much back story revealed in this story - every bit to tear readers up. It's an emotional story with two broken people who are so right to heal one another. Cameos of past characters feel like coming home to people you love. And when finally, these two overcome thier obstacles, it's the most beautiful thing.

I adore Sebastian York's deep voice - and he's perfect in this book, and together with Arndt, it's an absolute treat.
