I downloaded this not sure what yo expect, having not read or listened to any of Cassidy's previous work. What I found was a modern day take on a Twisted fairy take, that took some surprising and well written twists. If you're a horror fan, this one is well worth your time.

This book at the first two chapters had me gripped then it suddenly just felt really predictable and the ending started to feel really obvious. I wanted to learn more about the wolf and their back story. Would have enjoyed it more if it had been a series of books maybe. It just started to feel a little rushed towards the end

Erm? having never read anything before by this author I went in blind, the lady who narrated excellently portrayed the characters it was easy to imagine or visualise the characters but, once the story went off into fairyland I largely lost interest so that will have been pretty much after the first attack at Jess's apartment. I stuck with it because I'd paid my hard earned......but for no other reason and if I had known what to expect I would not have wasted my dime.

This book absolutely floored me. The book opens with a bang, and takes you on a ride all the way through. I genuinely think I experienced the 5 stages of grief. I will absolutely be rereading, there was not a single thing I didn’t like about this book. The characters and the world felt so real, it was heartbreaking, the body horror was unbelievable and the never ending chase was so beyond thrilling. Nat Cassidy is easily one of my favourite writers. If you’re thinking about reading/listening stop thinking and just do it !
