If you care about health read this!

Such a beautiful book. I really enjoyed In the realm of Hungry Ghosts and this book was just as good. But hit a bit closer to home having lost family to cancer and MS.
Real life stories and case studies intertwined with science and research. Kept me engaged and fascinated as well as emotionally reflective of the tragic illnesses and childhood trauma links that repeat throughout.
Certainly something to bear in mind when pursuing a healthy lifestyle and when at risk of spiritual bypassing.
Need to get the paperback too to highlight and go back to key bookmarks I made.

awesome book

I would say this books explains so well why so many of us have life habits, patterns, that we don't understand why we developed them, where they came from. Well it explains that it can be out coping mechanism, it can be stress and trauma that is was passed to you by different people in your life. so we are basically trying to heal generational trauma. I really enjoy the stories shared on this book.

Priceless

Dr Gabor Mate has the medical background, experience and research to provide the scientific evidence for that which I have come to see and believe for myself about myself through self enquiry and supporting others with their life challenges. It is refreshing to know that there is hope for healing in many medical cases where currently there is little more than body taxing treatment of symptoms. This is a book about health and I can not recommend it highly enough.
In today’s society where more and more of us are meeting emotional challenges without the wherewithal to most effectively handle them, and children are frequently ‘ignored’ by overburdened parents in favour of mechanical and/or technological babysitters, this book is indeed Priceless.
Thank you Gabor for your wisdom, willingness to share your own impediments and for you research and voice.

Kiki

Repeated patients stories which is meaningless and exhausting for the reader.
Classical medicine is discredited with no justification, biased since it presents correlation as causation
