I was not prepared for Dylan Gallagher. He is sweet, charming, protective and so incredibly thoughtful. He stole my heart along with Mel’s. I couldn’t help but fall in love with these characters and this story. Once I started reading it was difficult to put it down.
I loved the frisky naughtiness, the sparky banter, and the sweet evolution of fun flirtation into something far more complex, heart-wrenching, and brilliantly beautiful. It. Was. Stunning. There were moments where I needed to put my kindle down to catch my breath.
When You’re Mine is a perfect example of why I love reading romance books and getting caught up in all of the heartfelt feels and sexy fun.
I listened to the audiobook while recovering from an operation and it totally made my day - Maxine and Joe’s narration brought the story to life. How they portrayed each other’s characters was a bit disjointed but they portrayed their own character extremely well.
