Summary

From number-one New York Times best-selling author Abbi Glines comes the next new adult novel in her beloved Rosemary Beach series, which continues the story of Mase and Reese from When I'm Gone.

The future is bright for Reese Ellis. She has Mase Colt-Manning, the man of her dreams, and a family she didn't know existed until her long-lost father arrived on her doorstep in Rosemary Beach. After growing up with a cruel mother and abusive stepfather, Reese is eager to get to know the caring and charming man who wants to be a part of her life. Everything is finally falling into place.

While Reese is visiting her new family in Chicago, Mase spends time with his "cousin", Aida, who has worshipped him since childhood. Though they're unrelated by blood, Mase and Aida have been raised to think of each other as family. But when Reese returns, she can tell something isn't quite right with Aida, who clearly resents Reese and excels at manipulative little games. And though Mase is unsuspecting, Reese knows Aida doesn't love him like a cousin should.

Mase second book

🎧 AUDIO REVIEW 🎧

AUDIO 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

BOOK 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mase second book in the series I loved him. I did get annoyed sometime at Reese again.

I loved Captain being in this book and loved how their story came together with him apart of it.

Was glad of the ending and understanding of captain more.

4.5 Stars

Book 11 in the Rosemary Beach series continues Mase and Reese's story from When I'm Gone. Following the revelation in book 10 with Reese's birth father, it's all looking peachy back at the ranch. Reese has moved in with Mase, and Mase is taking care of his girl, she is after all the love of his life, and his future. Too bad there are two people dead set on messing it up for them, sadly Mase can't see the wood for the trees and he makes a few pretty big mistakes, and falls right into their trap. Add to the mix the evil stepdad making an appearance, and a few interesting revelations about Captain. That being said, Mase is truly hot, completely in love, and trying his best. Enjoyable read and a must for all Rosemary Beach fans. Loved hearing about all the crowd, Grant and Harlow especially.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This Rosemary Beach series was one that I really didn't think I'd get into as much as I have, but, I've loved every single book, and this one was no exception. Mase is totally the kind of guy you want to be with and Reese is so awesome that you're not even jealous that she got such a great guy! Love this story, and can't wait for more from Abbi Glines.

So Mushy in Love!

Narration - Grace Grant and Jason Carpenter - Really Good
We have dual POV's with dual narration and they're both really terrific narrators, so it was a really enjoyable listen.

I just love this whole series - I guess Abbi Glines is one of my guilty pleasure authors. She could write about my refrigerator and I'd probably still buy it and read it and besides that, I absolutely love me some Rosemary Beach!
This wasn't the strongest in the series, but I still loved it.

I thought this was a sweetly romantic story. Reese and Mace are just so mushy in love so there wasn't much angst to this story, or what was there didn't worry me too much because, well, they are just so mushy in love.

At one point, I thought we were being set up for a big blow-up with his annoying cousin Aida, (and GOD she was sooo annoying) but that was kind of a non-entity, then I was set for some major drama with Captain, and that lasted about a half hour. For the most part, we just get to enjoy watching Reese bloom and flourish with the support of Mace and some surprising support from River/Captain as we get set up for Captain's book. Abbi took him from kind of a jerk to a somewhat likable guy - and I was a bit surprised by his role near the end...

My favorite part? When Aida declares that Reese is Fat and has a Big Butt. Major says something along the lines of "You're built like a model and Reese is built like a Porn Star! You girls want the model body but us guys want the Porn Star Body" Bwaa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Love it!

Honestly, I thought this book could have been two or three hours longer because it seemed to rush along at times, and while I love what happened in the end, I'd like to know more. But, if you're a fan of Abbi and the Rosemary Beach Series, I still think you'll enjoy this!

Too Much

Too many story lines happening in this one book & none of them were covered in depth. The characters are fun, but I felt the Aida storyline was left dangling. Also, I wish we learned more about Nona, Raul, & Benedetto.

Love Me some Colt!

Mase Colt-Manning & Reese Ellis

I am a huge dang suck! Yes I said it. How is it I teared up over half this book!
I mean it’s been known to happen sure but I have already read this book before!! Sigh say la vee.

I loved getting to see Reese become someone kick-butt and awesome, who doesn’t let her past define her future. Also, Maryann is ACE’S in my book she is just the right kind of Momma Reese needs to be around...

Cousins & Cap…River... If I didn’t know what happens in the next book I would so want to box his ears and the cousins too!.

Mase oh Mase. His dad.. Now Harlow got to see what it’s like for Kiro but in this book, Mase gets to experience it. That is a powerful scene.

Is anyone like me and wants to see Dean get his HEA, I kinda of have a man crush on him yeah I said it what you going to do about it. :-p
Also wanted to shake Mase a little and be like SHE IS YOUR COUSIN NOT YOUR SISTER… she can fend for her dang self! Glad Major showed Mase the light so to speak…it was getting painful!

Sigh after all that.. the end gosh this is why I read romance I swear.. the swoon the tears… yep, it all happened… then the envelope came…

Intriguing Part II

I loved the continuation of Mase and Reese's story!
At first I didn't understand why her dad came in the picture but as the story continued it made sense. I will say that I wished Abbi would have answered more questions I had about De Carlo... like how he knew about Reese's stepfather and why he never saved her before.
Overall good story, I liked seeing Reese's progress with both her self esteem and confidence.
Ada's presence seemed a little unnecessary to the overall plot. Especially the confrontation in Reese's office after her fake apology. Like why couldn't it have been a real apology and that way we could have closed her side conflict all together?
So yeah a few things here and there either left me wanting to know more or left me confused but I got the jist of the story anyway and I still enjoyed listening.
I love Gabby as the female narrator.

Great ending to a sweet love story

I loved how the male lead loved so completely. Only complaint would be that I wish Aida had gotten what was coming to her publicly in the end. Yummy male narrator.
