Summary
Caroline Parker knows three things to be true. First, she is going to be Boston's most sought-after divorce attorney by 35. Second, given how terrible her romantic track record is, falling in love isn't in the cards for her. And third, Christmas only brings her bad luck - being broken up with not once, not twice, but three times during the holidays is proof enough of that.
When she runs into Hannah Dalton on Christmas Eve, she has no reason to believe her luck will change. After all, though Hannah is probably the most gorgeous woman she's ever seen, she's also straight. And married to Caroline's work rival.

I didn’t expect...
To fall in love with this book. Oh boy has it taken hold in my head, I keep listening to it on repeat. Sexy, sassy, heartwarming and hilarious. I have read/listened to a few wlw but none of them have resonated so deeply as this one.
This is my first time hearing Lori Prince’s narration and she does not disappoint, she brings each character wonderfully to life even the arsehat ex husband.
I’m now off to listen to Those Who Wait...because I can’t!

when u least expect it
a slow burn between the characters but one must give time to someone who finds themselves attrached to the opposite sex after 10 years of what can be characterised as in a controlling marriage

Uplifting love story .
It's a fantastic book, it has a bit of everything.
Haley Cass can write a love story!
Can't wait to read more by this author.
Lori Prince did another fantastic job with the narration.

Great characters & story
I have read a fair few WLW books over the years and have begun my journey back into audiobooks. This narrator’s voice takes a bit of warming up to but is super emotive and reads the story well. The story itself is brilliant. Slow burn filled with a beautiful and funny moments. Really enjoyed it and will be checking out the other stuff by this author for sure.

A beauty.
Really enjoyed the back and forth with the 2 protagonists, really natural and comedic. Story was believable, and a beautiful slow burn. Finished in two days and left wanting more. Lori as ever, is wonderful.

just tell her
repressed feelings are very annoying, fear of rejection and humiliation, been there, but from outside you just scream "tell her" .my first Haley Cass book and its superb, romance of friendship and a man to hate, plus a sensual performance by Lori Prince makes you feel the frustration.

Refreshing
I’m enjoying these modern stories, where coming out is no big deal. It is so refreshing.
This one is the classic will they won’t they, and it all is so realistic and beautifully told.
Not a fan of the narrator, but I think each person will have a different preference on that.
I loved it, and will be reading/listening more from this author.

Amazing!
I’ve just finished the book and have been in tears for the last 20 mins!
A really enjoyable heartwarming story. Very well written, the two main characters are very engaging. My third book by this author.
Excellent narration by Lori Prince who is one of my two favourite authors, the other being Abby Craden.
Thoroughly recommend
