Summary

They came to Earth thousands of years ago to usher in mankind's first new age of scientific growth and spiritual enlightenment. Under the guidance of these ancient visitors from the heavens, human civilization flourished - as revolutionary advances in art, science, and thought swept through the inhabited world. And they left behind magnificent monuments - baffling monoliths and awesome, towering structures that stand to this day as testaments to their greatness.

In this extraordinarily documented, meticulously researched work, Zecharia Sitchin draws remarkable correlations between the events that shape our civilization in millennia past - pinpointing with astonishing accuracy the tumultuous beginning of time as we know it...and revealing to us the indisputable signature of extraterrestrial god indelibly written in stone.

I'm waiting for a book I dont like!

i love when I am watching a movie or tv show that I can identify these "hidden" topics and themes. or the chosen names of characters, cities or planets and realize from which age or civilization the writers were drawn to. these books are the most relevant education I've ever received

Good stuff!

I think this book was the best in the series so far. I never seriously, academically, or even purposefully thought about why different peoples of the world use different calendars... I just thought it was simply tracking the moon and/or the sun. This book details the thoughts, the wars, and the politics that different peoples and civilizations had in order to track the passage of time--and by default--who rightfully ruled humankind at different time periods. Great read (well, great listen on Audible)!

Amazing book!

I greatly admire Zecharia Sitchin in the work he's done and hope that one day, if not in this life maybe the next, that I could be a part of this with in bringing the true history of mankind back so all can know it.

Great book, lots of history!

If you are a history type person then this book is for you. It starts off with the beginning of it all - religion. It branches off from Christianity into other types of religion and their meaning. It also involves other history way back then. As to how and why humans responded to Gods they way they did. What it meant then and now. It has 14 chapters and personally I recommend for other religious believers & non believers.

Great Series

The Sitchin books are well done. The narrator is great! His diction, tone, and voice are perfect for the readings. I highly recommend this book, and all the other volumes on the series.
