I'm so glad I came across this, it was just what I needed to hear. My child has been holding in poops and this has really helped me understand it as I've been so frustrated and stressed about it. It is actually starting to help! thank you so so much

I was after practical tips to help my kid. instead, I mostly got amateur nutrition advice that repeated itself in about a hundred different ways ("pears have loads of fibre, prunes will help with bowel movements" etc.) and some kind of lesson in meditation/mindfulness. There were a few token suggestions about potty training, almost as an afterthought. I am none the wiser about my kid's problem. Very disappointed.
