Glamorous, breathtaking, and all grown up, Jane Sheldon—the former girl next door—is taking on the assignment personally. Can he keep her safe in the midst of his storm? Dare he trust her with classified information when other matters begin to spiral out of control, submerging them into turmoil, and putting them on the run for their lives?

I enjoyed this sweet, closed-door mystery romance novella. Narrator Lisa Lynn Sandlin did an excellent job of drawing me into the story. The action scenes were nail-biting! I also loved the Bible verses and other quotes at the beginning of each chapter.
Childhood friends Alexander and Jane are just getting reacquainted when a figurative storm hits. Lives are at stake, and the race is on to work out the villain's identity. I loved how the difficult circumstances strengthened the main characters' faith, and the author's theme of forgiveness was lovely. Although the book wasn't a full-length novel, it didn't feel too short. When It Storms is a well-written book, and I can highly recommend the audio version.

A beautifully narrated novella!
