Beau was devastated. After the worst day of his life, Caleb, the kindhearted and beautiful man he loved, had left him for good.

This is such a great book, a book about love, life, loss, letting go. It really resonated with me. I will miss Caleb and Beau, they feel like friends and brought me comfort. I recommend to read this book!

Another sweet love story from Banner, with truly perfect narration to match. If you’re tired of predictable boy-meets-boy stories with a lot of lust and then an engagement in the epilogue, this is a great choice. It acknowledges that love and life are challenging and that people grow and change (but don’t worry, still with a HEA). If you’re a child of the 80s, like me, then this book might particularly speak to you and how our generation has experienced the world. Loved it, thanks Daryl.

i've read and listened to so many books by daryl banner at this point but this is by far the most beautiful one. i legit sat and cried multiple times listening to this, the depth of emotions captured in this book are just so incredible. i would give this a thousand stars if i could.
