What is needed now is for humanity to agree on the most important topic in human history. We could produce spectacular results if we did so, changing life on Earth for the better - forever. And this is not out of our reach. We could bring an end to anger, violence, disagreements between people and nations, financial hardships, poverty, starvation, and the suffering of millions. We could bring peace, prosperity, security, opportunity, and joy to people around the world. In short, all that humanity has ever hoped for or dreamt of and what we were truly meant to experience could be ours.

Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one. In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are and learn to live and breathe freely.

Story
We suffer from the most insidious kind of addiction - one we don't even realize we have. It is the addiction to power itself. Both the Twelve Steps of recovery and the ancient teaching of Advaita reveal that powerlessness is the secret to genuine strength. The proposition that lasting peace in life can come through the recognition of complete personal powerlessness may seem counterintuitive and ultimately ridiculous. Yet, lasting peace is the miracle The Way of Powerlessness makes possible.

You cannot take advantage of this miracle, Chopra says, unless you are willing to completely reinvent your body, transforming it from a material object to a dynamic, flowing process. "Your physical body is a fiction," Chopra contends. Every cell is made up of two invisible ingredients: awareness and energy.

A must read book!

Summary
Inspired by his nine-book Conversations with God series, many people have asked Neale Donald Walsch to find a way to deliver the most essential pieces of God’s message to us in a more succinct way.
The result is a concise audiobook detailing and expanding just what we need to know about life and how to live it. Bringing their many conversations over the years into sharper focus than ever before, Walsch in What God Said encourages listeners to cast aside religious and cultural trappings. To experience life as fallible - and human - beings, open minded, open-hearted, and all-embracing, and to build on, broaden, and enrich our ancient story.
But to move forward on this ever-expanding and encompassing spiritual voyage means not only understanding what Walsch considers the most important insights of his Conversations with God, but also applying them in the most practical of ways. And so Walsch has included solid suggestions on how to apply each of the 25 Core Messages in daily life, The author says that should humanity begin carrying these messages forward, starting today, they can literally change the world.

The most healing experience
What disappointed you about What God Said?
This book delighted me on all levels and Neales voice is so soothing and calm
Would you ever listen to anything by Neale Donald Walsch again?
I have listened to lots of Neale Donald Walsh's books, he is my main spiritual influence as I am not a religious person and have no church to go to. You know when you are listening to him you are sharing the truth it leaves you calm and yet invigorated with life
How did the narrator detract from the book?
He didn't, the book is long but i listened all the way through and instantly started to listen again but this time taking notes and marking places of particular delight
You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I did love this book, I adore it!!! I have many of Neale Donald Walshe's books but this overview of the whole of the conversations with God books is just stunning
Any additional comments?
If you are wondering what its all about, what is God, what is life all about, what should I do about the state of the world etc etc, then this book will be your new best friend, a place to revisit over and over again for calm and easy to take in understanding about it all. I would like to give a copy to everyone in the world. Good for when you are troubled and can't rest your mind, plug in, lay back and find yourself in a place where you just 'get it'

Spiritual read for those who seek enlightenment
The book is not about Christianity as the title & use of the word 'God' might suggest. It covers spirituality with a deeper perspective, and resonates more with Buddhist philosophy to me. God is in us all. Listen carefully to this book and the concepts covered give the reader a perfect platform to develop a true meaning on the planet.

A concise account of God’s truth, future of humanity!
For too long religions have been plagued with good scriptures that have been partly altered at some point in-time, by someone to serve their own less then ideal purposes.
Conversations with God are the only logical theology, not to be confused with a religion but which answers the desperate questions we all seek for a peaceful future and explain how God does not demand or expect anything and we are all One and part of the creation and therefore part of God ourselves.
Luckily, we rest assured that the messages told to the seeker who carefully complied the studies for us are pure and true; (Because we are lucky enough he personally, read and recorded every last word:)

Very easy to digest summary of CWG series
Many years ago I read the CWG series of books. THis book is a good summary of the main topics and points covered, and whilst I appreciate the word GOD will turn many people off, the message is universal covering all beliefs and using the word GOD to encompass the higher universal source force, however we choose to label it.
A worthy read / listen for anyone keen to further explore their faith / spirituality who also seeks answers and ideas to life's biggest questions and issues facing humanity.

Honestly knowing & Loving of God at its best !
Where does What God Said rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Next to Tomorrow's God this audiobook is my personal favorite.
What other book might you compare What God Said to and why?
All of the CWG books are summarized in this newest in depth analysis of humanities new spirituality. I am in awe of this new age theological study.
What does Neale Donald Walsch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Neale's voice gives unique emphasis & interpretation to the book's sublime cosmological meanings. My comprehension id enhanced without eye fatigue for extended hours while I'm engaged in housework and routine tasks.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
"You're God is killing you." ~CWG
Any additional comments?
These core conversations with God expose the distortions & cultural myths misconceiving the true Nature of God Within each of us. Religious is largely old paradigm fear based & punitive God images. Fear based beliefs enslave humanity's mind, justifying domination of our earth & each other. They perpetuate a primitive warlike species destroying it's ecology & itself in blame & victimization. Now God offers each of us to know God within, without the illusion of religious superiority.

Another wonderful book!
The CWG books/teachings have answered most of the many questions I’ve had for years. I am a “preachers kid”. I’ve been involved in children and music ministry for most of my life. Altho I enjoyed this and felt like I was a help to my church community, I secretly searched for answers I couldn’t find....till I discovered Deepak Chopra and that led to Neale Donald Walsh. I would recommend all of Mr Walsch’s books to anyone that can open their mind. I am reading ALL of his writings.
