Summary

The legend of the werewolf is as old as man himself. From Ed and Lorraine Warren, the world's most famous demonologists, comes perhaps their most incredible and horrifying case: the true story of William Ramsey, whose bizarre seizures terrified the English town of Southend-on-Sea. Believing Ramsey to be a victim of demonic possession, the Warrens arranged for the rite of exorcism to be performed. Not since the exorcist shocked the nation has there been such a horrifying account of a supernatural battle between good and evil within the soul of one human.

Books by Ed and Lorraine Warren also include Graveyard, Ghost Hunters, The Haunted, In a Dark Place, and Satan's Harvest.

Truly scary

I hope this becomes the next movie in the Conjuring series bc this is one of the most unique cases I have ever heard. I am left with tons of questions after and long for more information.

A great accounts of Bill Ramsey's ordeal

If you're looking for a spine chilling close the curtains werewolf horror story this isn't it. Its a recount of the demonic possession of Bill Ramsey. Its well written and the narrator is very good. I enjoyed the book and found it very interesting that has lead me to research this even further.

This one left way more questions than answers

I normally really enjoy learning about the accounts of Ed and Lorraine Warren. This one... not so much. It really frustrated me that they never give an explanation as to how the initial possession came to pass let alone even attempt to conjecture as to the how or why. I felt that this novel was geared toward your average person just looking for a "spooky" story and not for anyone with a true respect for demonology.

Hard to follow.

This narrator is great, but doing the British accents was taxing. The book jumps around A LOT time-wise. A bit frustrating and annoying. I've enjoyed the other Ed & Lorraine Warren books a bit more.
