About this listen

Its the summer of 1944 and British soldier Frank Marshall awaits his orders. As he tries his best to forget the war at the local village pub, drinking his favorite pint Archers Ale he meets the young barmaid June Jefferson. They soon fall in love. Unexpectedly, Frank is told his division is heading to Portsmouth for the liberation of Europe. Fearing he will never see her again, he rushes to her father's pub and promises "We'll Meet Again".

This was a short story that I truly enjoyed. It did not take long for me to finish. The ending had me Iooking forward to the next part.

I was very surprised on how this audiobook ended (part 1 of it). Did not see that coming especially seeing this through Frank Marshals eyes. Greatly performed and written.
