Summary
Hayden Duke has the naive ambition to make some money and prove to his family that he can take care of himself, so he accepts a short-term contract working for his old college friend, Shane Fallon. All seems like a dream come true…until Shane kills himself. Right in front of Hayden.

Great book, shame about narrator.
This took a little longer to get going than the others, but it was worth the wait.
I found myself struggling to figure this one out, the story line is very clever and I marvel at how he keeps coming up with these totally different story lines and delivers them on the page with such interest.
Simon Wood keeps me gripped and I can't wait to read more.

Central characters were a pair of idiots!
This really stretched the bounds of plausibility with the two main characters acting in such a ridiculous manner it was tempting to give up listening and leave them to it! Narration was excellent, and it kept me entertained for an afternoon.
