very enjoyable

great audio book, the narrator was good, definitely kept the flow of the story and k f Breene never disappoints, must read or listen to the earlier books first though I think.

Has potential

I felt this was very rushed. The narrator has done better in other books. She was no on her game in this series. She read way too quickly and lacked proper dictation for the events in the story. This story has great potential like I said. It just needed more patience and not be so rushed.

Narrative rushed

I’m a big fan of Nicole Poole. This recording performance and the first Warrior Fae audio are very rushed, readings are too fast, I’ve had to rewind certain passages to understand the intent, not enough emphasis on voicing the emotions, no pauses during emotionally charged scenes. Very disappointing. Great story, but I’ve heard other recordings by this narrator and I’m not sure what happened on the Warrior Fae books.

I have no idea if anyone reads these reviews, just one question... does the producer actually listen to the finished performances?

Looking forward to the next book

Enjoyed the humor and story line of this series. There is so much more to tell about the lives of the people of this series and how they intertwine. Looking forward to the next books.

This is the third book I have heard of Breene's.

I really like the story, the characters, and the plot, but I could really do without the porn. While I can fast forward beyond it, I don't recommend listening to this book around others, for fear of offending them. NSFW.

Love

I have to say I love all of kF breene books because she never makes her heroines weak, whiny annoying females like most authors love to do with their female characters not once when reading her books have I ever felt the urge to reach into a book to strangle her characters or throw the book across the room because the heroine is such an idiot. I love the DDVN series the most and hope she continues writing this series especially more Reagan and Penny please I recommend this series for those who love action, romance funny humor and strong heroines

I love the Story, Not so much into the erotic

Great Narration. First I like the characters and the story. I am interested enough now to lister to some of the other books this author has written are created for Audible. I am not a huge fan of the erotic romance stuff. Not because I don't like it, it more because it is very awkward to have this playing when other family members can hear it. Regardless, in my opinion if you are into modern fantasy, this is very much worthy of a credit.
