incredible! Let’s start with the amazing positives. I was invested from minute one. The narration is a gift! Always amazing performances from these two men and honestly it’s down to Zachary Johnson’s performance that you don’t hate Pirce( piers) it’s hard to tell with the accents . It’s all his fault and he’s a tad annoying. Just keeps whining while wanting what he wants. That being said you still want them to be together because, well really Will. But I was so engrossed that I binged it without taking a break. I am now going to purchase everything this author has written! X

This has to be one of my favourite MM romances I've ever listened too. Not only is the writing impeccable but the performance of the narration was 10/10. I listen to at least 4 audio books a week and this one wrapped itself around my entire being. The character development, the emotional development and the physical development between characters was absolutely perfect and had me hanging on every word.

Narrator for Will is excellent, narrator for Pearce is too breathy and emphatic, which does not blend well; IMO Zachary Johnson's style is jarring. BUT do not be put off, this story is gripping, passionate, poignant, compelling and tear-jerking.

There is a twist at halfway you never see coming, whereupon Pearce's soul descends to a new low in standing and attitude. The twist seems improbable, unless it's happened to you.

Researching this book, I discover I have enjoyed other books by these authors. This book left me uncomfortably numb and sorry it is over.
