Truly unsettling and very frightening. Good narration, very atmospheric. Not a classic haunted house story but a fabulous take on one.

I have not reread this book for quite a number of years and had forgotten how good the story was. A gory classic from Graham. Really enjoyed the narrator as well. He really brought the text to life. Have recently purchased 'The Heirloom' which is also narrated by the same voice actor. I messaged Graham on his website to ask if these 2 publications on Audible was just the start of all his back catalogue becoming available. 'Black Angel' is apparently due next. Hopefully more will follow.

wow. not what I expected but so good. highly recommend to any horror fan. gripping, intense and well paced. also one of the best narrators I've encountered, the performance is excellent. Will be seeking out more like this.
