Still mourning the death of her husband and young son, Jodie Hanson writes a blog for grieving widows and mothers as a way to deal with her broken heart. She has her life under control until her landlord sells the home she considers her safe haven, and a former colleague offers her a position as a travel blogger.
Needing to move, Jodie accepts Heather Archer's offer to live in a deceased aunt's consignment shop in exchange for disposing of its dusty remnants, which coincides with the start of her new job. Jodie finds both tasks challenging, though handyman and neighbor, Brad Davenport, provides his helpful assistance.
