Summary

When Callie Taylor died, she expected to go to heaven - or maybe hell. Instead, when she was murdered in Dallas by some jerk with a knife and a bad-mommy complex, she went to Alabama. Now she's seen another murder, and she can't just let it go; she must find a way to make sure the police figure out who really killed Molly McClatchy before an innocent man goes to prison, all the while trying to determine how and why she woke up dead in Alabama.

Love waking up to a good book

I really enjoyed this very unusual book. I love the fact that it is a ghost trying to find the evidence to stop a mum from going to jail. This is the first book by this author I have listened to and to be honest I wasn't sure if I would like it but I like the narrator and thought I would give it a go. It took me a while to start listening to it but once I started I didn't want to stop, I really enjoyed the characters and the way they interacted with each other and solved the case. I hope there are more books in the works.
Callie is killed by a serial killer and in stead of moving on, her ghost is stuck in Alabama. While trying not sending any that can see her insane or go insane herself with boredom she takes up spending nights in different houses watching tv with the owner's. That is until one night she gets more than she bargained for and watched the brutal murder of a woman. After spending so long trying to stay invisible Callie now has to find someone who can see her or else the innocent husband is going to jail for a crime he didn't commit. Can she find someone to listen to her and more importantly how can she find evidence when she is a ghost and her hands just pass right through an object. There also the little problem of not being able to leave the city limits. Will an innocent man to to jail?
As I said I have heard a number of books by this narrator and always found her books to be high on the excitement scale.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Absolutely brilliant

This appealed to my sense of humour and was just fantastic. We need more. and would love more stories featuring these characters they were just brilliant.

The narration was amazing really added to the story.

I have never listened to anything by the author or the narrator but will in the future.

I was given a free copy but these are my own thoughts.
