Most relevant
Loved Florence’s story but really struggled with Max. I listened to him on double speed just to get the gist, he was arrogant, patronising and self satisfied.
His story focused a LOT on the spiritual world and it was rather repetitive, on and on about his spiritual journey.
And yet Florence and Rupert’s story jumped forward years at a time.
The ending was a bit too quick to be satisfactory.

I was totally captivated from beginning to end. I loved it and it is one of those unique stories that sticks with you and makes you want to learn more about the subject of the book.

I am a fan of this author anyway but I really enjoyed this book and feel lost now it’s ended. Loved the storyline and the narrators were excellent. My only disappointment is that it wasn’t longer and I wanted a bigger ending for Florence but I accept that the ending made the story more plausible. Loved it and recommend it. R R
