Loved Florence’s story but really struggled with Max. I listened to him on double speed just to get the gist, he was arrogant, patronising and self satisfied.
His story focused a LOT on the spiritual world and it was rather repetitive, on and on about his spiritual journey.
And yet Florence and Rupert’s story jumped forward years at a time.
The ending was a bit too quick to be satisfactory.

Ruined by an insufferable Max

Initially, I thought this wasn't for me, as there was a bit of a slow start. I came back to it after a while and got caught up in it. Glad I persevered.
