About this listen

A collection of short stories, audiobook three.

Thanks to an opportunity provided to him by his friend, lawyer turned model Enrique Munier travels from Paris to Venice to shoot his first commercial. Upon his arrival, he meets the tour guide assigned to him, Alonzo Giordano, and the self-proclaimed player hopes the guide will show him a little more than the beautiful city.

What he doesn't plan for is falling hard only to be rejected by the one he wants. How did the man who doesn't do feelings find himself and his life turned upside down? Did the player get played, or could this be the real thing?

Enrique meets Alonzo in Venice when on vacation. Alonzo is his tour guide and an instant attraction follows. This is a sweet and flirty MM romance. I loved this short story and enjoyed the way they overcome the stereotypes of being gay.

Another amazing short by Elaine Marie. This story takes us to Venice. Rico is heading this way to shoot a commerical. While there he meets Alonzo who is his tour guide. Sparks to seem to fly for Rico. Alonzo is a little slower in admitting his feelings. He is used to everyone leaving him. This little diddy shows Rico from being a playboy/ love and leave them guy to falling in love with Alonzo. With the help of his friends he works on winning his love back.
The narrator was new to me. Did a very good job, enjoyed listening to him. I do want to say the characters voices didn't really fluctuate nor any accents appear to much. But overall I'd listen to him again.

A great addition to Elaine Marie’s FYI<3 Series. This one brings Enrique, Jillian’s good friend and a player, to Venice. He meets his match, Alonzo, but is just a player playing the player? This is a quick read with great storylines and character development. Amazing how much story Elaine Marie gives us in 77 minutes. Thank you for another great story.

I listened to the audible edition, Daniel James Lewis does a great job narrating the story and performing the voices for all the characters. He adds the right amount of dramatic flair to his storytelling and brings the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thanks for a great listen!

I really enjoyed this lovely short and sweet story. Its book 3 in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

It's my first Male on Male listen and I wasnt disappointed. Similar to the previous two books, I feel the characters relationships move fast but that appears to be Elaine Marie's style. It's nice to bring characters in from previous stories too.

The narrator does a wonderful job of the story and brings it to life.

I did not read the synopsis close enough and therefore I was quite surprised at the turn of this book. I requested this book since it was the next in the series and I’m beginning to appreciate the different narrators, locales and romance angles. I also appreciate that the author has made subtle references to the characters from the early books, thus showing how they are all intertwined. I suspect that she also dropped a hint about the character and conflict from the fourth book as well and I will certainly listen for the hints in the future.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.
