Oh my poor sweet Charlie i don’t cry at books but he almost had tears my heart broke for him , Shane was just who he needed to start to mend him in all the ways. I’m not sure but i think this was Joey Parker’s debut book and it was awesome i can’t wait to see what else Joey brings us.

I cried the entire way through this book. It completely broke me 😭

Charlie's trauma and heartache tore at my chest throughout this whole story and at times the hurt was so severe I was struggling to even breathe. Reading the assault scenes was horrific but hearing them being narrated was so much more so.

Shane is a freaking saint 🙌 how one chance encounter changes both of their lives and the horrific journey they both endured to get to their happy ending was overwhelming at times.

This book is not for the faint-hearted - please please check those trigger warnings ⚠️ because this book hits like a motherf*cker.

This book has a very interesting, intricate storyline. There’s a lot of trauma here that can heal with the right support. A fantastic performance.

Voices is the first book in the Irish Knights Hockey series. This book had my emotions tied in a knot. Charlie has suffered from some severe trauma. Shane was able to help him finally heal.

Michael Norman Johnson and Avery Wilde did a fantastic job narrating this book.
