Loved loved loved book one and two. Three didn’t feel as in depth and I lost a little interest. Hence it’s been in my to listen pile a while.
Just fell in love with everyone again … apart from Heddy. I just don’t like her! But that’s what makes the story start and maybe we aren’t supposed to like her?!
They are incredibly intricate and well planned stories and the characters intertwine like silk. James Lailey narration is hypnotic and makes this series feel calm and poetic. So unlike his narration with Anna Lou Weatherly books where he seems a bit of a London Geezer. Utterly bereft there isn’t another chapter to read and listen too. Can’t recommend this book and the series enough. Superb! I listen to one or two books a week sometimes 3 and it’s rare that books stick with me. This is up there in my top ten series. And to think I only listened because of Mr Lailey and his narration on another book. Well done to Kate Webb and Mr Lailey.
