The Bridge Trilogy is a real favourite of mine and so when they were announced I pre ordered and awaited with great antici...pation.
The narrator just doesn't bring the story to life.
I've just started Idoru and the narrators Australian accent is so poor it drags me out of the world of the story.

I'm a huge fan of William Gibson. I love the Sprawl trilogy and the Blue Ant trilogy, though somehow his Bridge trilogy from the 90s had passed me by. But now it's available finally on audio I decided to give it a go. And I'm very glad I did.
The prose is excellent, the characters all vivid and well-realised, and the plot is of the typical quality you can expect from Gibson.
The only negative, in my opinion, is that the book took a little while to get going. The first chapter is far longer than any of the others, and could honestly have done with some severe editing, but I stayed with it and the novel picked up and was excellent. Even though it was written to be science fiction it doesn't feel dated or even that fantastic.
Jason Keller is a perfect choice to narrate. Virtual Light is a great novel and I'll certainly continue with this series.
