These are 'HIGHLIGHTS' only

What would have made Virginia Woolf: 'To The Lighthouse' and 'Mrs Dalloway' better?

I would have liked to hear Celia Johnson reading the full version of both of these books. That would have deserved 5 stars in every category. I didn't realise when I bought it that this was only snippets of the books. Of course if this had been made more obvious I wouldn't have bought it so I feel as if I have been duped.

Have you listened to any of Celia Johnson’s other performances? How does this one compare?

No, but I would like to hear her read both these books in full.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance that the books are not complete.

Any additional comments?

So very sad that I am unable to hear Celia Johnson's magnificient reading of these two classic works.

Not Correct Title

What would have made Virginia Woolf: 'To The Lighthouse' and 'Mrs Dalloway' better?

This does not contain "To the Lighthouse" at all and only contains the first three chapters of "Mrs. Dalloway."

Has Virginia Woolf: 'To The Lighthouse' and 'Mrs Dalloway' turned you off from other books in this genre?

No.

What didn’t you like about Celia Johnson’s performance?

This is a 1940s recording.

What character would you cut from Virginia Woolf: 'To The Lighthouse' and 'Mrs Dalloway'?

Not applicable.

Any additional comments?

Please take this down as an option as it doesn't match its title.

Not Full Novem

It did not indicate this was only part of the book. I am less than pleased that it was a waste of money.

Mis-labeled

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Unfortunately, this is not To the Lighthouse or Mrs. Dalloway. The entire audiofile is only 1 hour long. It is read well, but it is not titled correctly. Don't be mislead.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Celia Johnson?

yes, as long as it was the correct book!
