really terrific historical story about the unsung female heroes who were told they couldn't, or shouldn't do certain jobs, until war starts and the men join up, then women are needed and prove anything is possible. excellent writing which shows how hard same sex love was, but that love finds a way.

This is a fantastic emotional journey of hiding oneself and trying to fit into a hetro society. Being scared and hiding from love is a feeling many know well! I know I do from my younger years, but love always finds us in the end. 💗
Female pilots were couriers only and scorned by the men who were far more inferior to themselves. These women were courageous, brave and intelligent and they loved to fly. 🛩
This is an emotional journey and with delightful beautiful narration that is a pure joy to listen to.🎶
