This book was Awesome!
This book was Awesome! That was all pretty much in the synopsis and I don't really want to say anymore and spoil anything. But if you like villains who are heroes, you are gonna like this book. K.N Licavoli has become one of my favorite writers.
Her adult fantasy, sci-fi Shades of Magic series was so good. And I already have City of Ghosts that I cannot wait to read. Serious I recommend checking her books out. This book though, Wow! I was pulled in right from the start and did not want it to end.

Wow this is pretty messed up!
There were so many times while reading this that I kept thinking. Wow this is pretty messed up, but I can’t help but want to know more! This was so different from anything I’ve read before and I loved how unique and dark and evil it was! There was something to reading about murderers and death and villains that drew me in and refused to be left alone. I guess sometimes it feels good to be bad! This unique book will be put in my author's shrine along with the rest of her masterpieces to be read again one day when I’m feeling particularly villainous.

Really a great book
I am finding it extremely difficult to come up with the right words to accurately describe just how much I adored this novel. I completed it well over a month ago and I am still constantly thinking about it. This was my first experience with K.N Licavoli’s work, and I was completely blown away by her talent. It has been quite a while since I was so quickly pulled into a novel. I found this incredibly hard to put down once I started reading.

Concise and to the point
What I love about the author is that she doesn't just write a suspense romance book, but teaches us many new experiences. I enjoyed the story that made me entertained.

The writing was easy but beautiful
First and foremost I absolutely love this book. It is so different from other kinds of books that I have read. This was my first book that was about a villain rather than the hero.K.N Licavoli has some amazing and beautiful writing. The characters are very well built and the plot is so different. This is a dark yet a sort of thought provoking book.The writing was easy but beautiful. The whole language was very natural to me. I really liked the structure of the book, with the rather short chapters going on in several different timelines.
There’s so much to say yet I don’t really know what to say.I think I have a new favorite I have to add to my ever growing list.

I loved reading this book
I loved reading this book for its methodical approach to the plotting and timeline of events. The story is pieces together carefully so that information is revealed when it will most benefit, surprise, inform the reader, not just always in chronological order, and the author is really good at doing this well.
The author was created a very plausible version of reality where superpowers are just out of reach and might be discovered as part of a university project by two roommates. The story contains few archetypes of traditional superhero myths, instead giving us powerful characters who are no better people than the normal ones.

Great narration.
The romance was a little rushed, I felt the author was working with a limit on story length and wish it could have played out a bit. The mystery was well done for this genre, not dwelling on dark detail or too gritty, but adding tension. Great narration.

I really enjoyed this
I really enjoyed this, at first I thought I might not, but it took a wonderfully sweet turn fairly early on and it had me wrapped from then on. This story has the qualities I like on a romance story: a sweet romance with hot scenes, a well developed, believable story with mystery and excitement.
