This story is very much about discovering the fine line between heroes and villains and questioning what exactly makes someone a villain or a hero. And I love all the morals and ideas that come with this because it's very rare to find a book that dives so deep into this topic.The idea of this story being about super villains as opposed to super heroes is what had me interested right away. I had no idea how twisted and crazy and cruel these characters could be! I am so impressed with this story because it's truly magnificent. It has all the elements that make a story amazing: interesting and unique characters, suspenseful writing that keeps you turning the pages, an intriguing opening chapter, and a shocking ending. Right from the beginning with the graveyard scene I was immediately curious and intrigued and it was a very mysterious introduction to the story which I loved.

I think it's safe to say that this book is full of surprises and twists and turns that will constantly keep you guessing. Its easily one of my favorite books of the year, and arguably of all time. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did, but I am so impressed.

I just had to add a short review of this original and engrossing novel. Usually, if at least one of the main characters is not likable, it's hard to like the book. Not so here! None of the characters, except a little girl with an amazing gift, is likable at all. But I really, really liked the story! I won't repeat the summary here, but must say that it was very well written and meticulously plotted. The surprises just kept on coming, and they are logical to the characters, not off the wall at all.

It was a real page turner for me, and I found myself thinking about it a lot. I even had a dream about it! Best of all, although this is apparently the first of a series, the ending was complete and fitting with loose ends tied up. No cliffhanger here! If you have any interest in a story combining extra-ordinary abilities and what power does to corrupt different human characters, you should give this one a try. I cannot compare it to anything else because I don't think anything else quite like this is out there!

I started listening to this audiobook as a referral from a friend. This book is very gripping, and one of the best that I have ever read. I really hope that K.N Licavoli keeps adding more stories like this. She has a unique way with words that reel you in, make you want more, but entertains you at the same time. Start with this one as you will want to read more and more too.

I can’t really wait for the next one!! The author's books are a fun bunch to get to know and thus author has certainly given us many interesting characters to follow. This keep me wanting more.

I like this book, I'd say it was cute and entertaining. I especially like the way it ends.
Highly recommend this book as a fun sexy listen. Great story and great narration. Wish there were more to this series.
