Summary

Go zero to 60 in this dangerously sexy novel from number-one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan. The Torpedo Ink motorcycle club has its relationships put to the test in this gritty, suspenseful new installment of the series as members seek to build new lives - and find love - in the community of Sea Haven.

Breezy Simmons was born into a ruthless motorcycle club - and now that she’s out, she’s never going to be that girl again. But when her past catches up with her, Breezy must go to Sea Haven to seek out the man who almost destroyed her. The man who chose his club over her and left her feeling used and alone.

As vice president of Torpedo Ink, Steele is ride or die for the brothers with whom he lived through hell. He never thought he’d find something as pure as his feelings for Breezy or that keeping her safe would mean driving her away with cruel words that turned her love for him to ash.

Now, Steele won’t let her walk away twice. He’ll do whatever it takes to make Breezy his woman again - especially when he learns the real reason she came to him for help and that the stakes are higher than he ever could have imagined....

Sadly A Great Disappointment

I struggled wuth this one. Usually the sex contributes to the story but this is just gratuitous. Completely lost the sense of the story. Pity because the whole plot surrounding the rescue of a small boy could have been very interesting. I always look forward to Feet and books. This is just formulaic.

Bummed by the outcome of this book

so, here's the thing, I Love CF she is an amazing author. I love how intense the stories and characters are. My hang up with this book stemmed from the fact that this series is a spin off of a previous series which was a spin off of a previous series and while I hoped the excitement of previous storylines would continue, this book was boring. Nearly 14 hours of listening to the two characters inner dialogue about the horrible things that happened to them, and how that's why they are the way they are, but instead of them talking about this the entire first 2/3 of the books was a back and forth of you belong to me let me explain vs. you kicked me out you didnt want me. There was about 20 minutes of actual action and then you get another 2 hours of emotional drama. While I appreciate the horrific pasts each character has survived, I think the series would maintain its excitement with an even split of emotional drama and action. I loved the last 3-4 hours of the book even with the lack of action in the last 2 hours. But a lot of the middle should have been left out or switched to keep up the nail biting adrenaline endusing plot that I expect and love from CF.
I will prolly read the next in the series because I'm invested with these characters but I really hope the next novel has more action!

I liked her vampire series, but this one is almost pure porno. if you take out 1/2 the sex the story is about 1/3. the book

mildly disappointed

I LOVE feehan and ALL of her Drake sisters, bound, and was LOVING torpedo ink, but this book left something to be desired. it didn't pull me in. it almost feels like she was on auto pilot writing this one. I hope the next one lives up to her usual greatness.

Not worth my time.

This has to be the worst book by Christine Feehan I have ever read. It was not worth my money or time. Very disappointing.

it’s Feehan...love it or not

It always amazes me how dark Feehan can get in her stories, when writing about past events. Note: I “couldn’t handle the truth” if it was detailed while actually happening. I’m just not into horror. Hey, if you create what you think about (physics), I’ll choose love over horror any day of the week and twice on Sunday🥰
But be prepared for plenty of s-e-x.
This is a good installment in the Torpedo Ink series, but Feehan leaves a lot more gaps in her story - what about Steel’s PTSD? It’s miraculously dialed down by telling Breezy the details of his most traumatic event? Is Blythe really that casual with the Ink crew swearing around Darby and the kids, and their general coarseness? She still overdoes the mental dialogue and repeating certain points too many times, but it got better just when I was getting ready to fast forward through.
Frangione does a very good job as narrator for the series.

Not a big fan of the narrator

I really wish that Jim would work on his voices rather then sounding like the same person is always talking. At least try a little man!

Amazing

Wonderful! I’m addicted to Christine Feehan and this latest installment of the “biker” series is AWESOME. I didn’t expect the storyline ending and all I’ll say is Christine got it right

Hot sex, intriguing mystery tied together with lots of romance

Another very exciting sexy romance with several twists & a very interesting surprise. Ms Feehan’s characters always have such depths & emotion to them. Would recommend the first book in the series first so you get to know the characters better.
