Lacking something…

I feel like this book was lacking something. Maybe a real storyline. A goal. An end game. There wasn’t enough history and character building. I understand it’s a short story, but maybe I was interested in it enough to want more?!? The narrator did a good job. He was good with making distinction between characters, but they were SO different it would be hard not to tell them apart. Was the story horrible…no. Do I like it enough to continue the series…no. I received a free Audible Review Copy from StoryOrigin.

Such a unique take on vampires

What an amazingly unique take on vampires (and no they don’t SPARKLE!). I have vampire caving part one on its own as well as in a collection or two...I was thrilled to finally be able to get parts 2 and 3....I thought the unique things discovered in part one were awesome...I can’t put a spoiler in for these they are just too good and need to be realized in the story not in a review...let me Say that the take on vampires, their powers and their immortality will never satisfy in the mundane main stream fashion again once you finish these stories...get them read them listen to them share them! I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Great Audiobooks

I don't know what to say other than these stories are worth listening to. It's a new spin on the old Vampire stories with you now wondering just where did they come from. But, how did the very first Vampire get started on his way to future Fame and Glory. Think about it, who sucked the very first drop of Blood.

An interesting vampire’s story...

I love to read any story about vampires so, this book immediately caught my attention. The plot is interesting and it was more like an explanation about vampire’s origins and culture, while 2 friends learned how to live being one. A wonderful book beautifully read by an amazing voice actor. I especially loved the soothing tone of Mr Jones. So nice!

Very cute and entertaining

I have to say this series would be great for kids as well as adults it a story of two friends who lived around the 1920's who went out to get drunk pick a lady up and takes her home (nothing sexual happens) they are attached and fed on by a female vampire. Now we are in the present and the two friends are still alive but one is stuck in the pass and sounds like a 1920 mob boss and the other has kept up with times computer, cellphones etc the friend us starting to take interest and it is funny to listen to the two talking . So the series is base on the one friend who never lost his adventure nature and wants to know why there are vampires their history from were they became into bring up to present. So you get a history lesson that covers the globe on the surface but most under ground in caves you meet the original vampires who are not started from one branch of humanity but two one called the Water Protector Clan and one who really had no name but was known for ability to run very fast with their one leg and at one time lived on the surface but sometime moved into caves and built their civilization and own culture. The water protectors survived and the Clan of One Leg did not. Only after you meet Dracula do you really figure what the the Water Protector Clan and Clan of One Leg gave or created that helped create vampires with the ability for long life but not how they came into deing. You see and learn about Dracula and what he was doing in the present and finally his downfall. So do highly recommend this series of audiobooks but listen to them at one time the books do play right into each other pretty wells and after you listen to them share the books with kids and friends

It has potential

The first story was very interesting; I would've liked to see this explored more or made into a longer story. The third story had an unexpected twist, for me at least. That would also be interesting as a longer story.

Where did Vampires come from??

The two men turned to vampires on the same night, were friends, both then and afterwards. In their own way each searching for how vampires came to exist. Each episode gives a different slant on the creation of the species, each giving a different perspective into the two characters relationship and friendship.

A Unusual and Interesting take on Vampireisum

The author wrote a series of 3 books in one Audible, that follows the story of 2 men who become Vampires and looking to understand the origin of it. The two main characters are men from the 1920's and follows them as time moves forward. Quite different from any other Vampire story I have every listen to or read. Not bloody or gorey, with different designations depending on each ones preferred inclinations.
