The story was easy enough to follow and listen to but I feel it lacked substance. I don’t imagine Amber Rose Gill has written a tonne of books so I wasn’t expecting huge things but I feel it was a little boring.

In terms of performance it didn’t always flow, change of character wasn’t always clear and it did sound a bit dragged out.

The audio was okay but would have liked a little more differentiation when reading different emotions as it was a little monotone. Loved everything else and I’m definitely going to read the next book.

The editing was bad, multiple lines repeated. Story was basic, characters….. well the male lead gave me the complete ick with the way he spoke to her with his cheesey lines. Was a great attempt for a first time novelist but over all a lot of the words I felt didn’t flow from her, descriptive words felt forced! Amber should stay true to her own words and it would have felt more normal.
