About this listen
"Fear the living, fear the dead, fear the Unspeakable."
Kenning Hall was more than a country home, it was the family's sanctuary away from the frenetic pace of London, until that day.
What happened that day was so horrifying, so devastating, that the place was left to ruin, until now.
A decade later, 32-year-old Rupert Harrison, the only surviving heir to the Harrison publishing dynasty, has ordered Kenning Hall restored to its former glory.
It's time to go back.
Now, if you think you've heard this story before, think again. This is just the beginning.
Something is waiting at Kenning Hall. Something vengeful, malevolent, and it will follow him home.
This book isn't creepy, it's downright terrifying. Be warned: Daylight will not save you.

Most definitely will do that, and have done so already. What other book might you compare Unspeakable to, and why?
Dan Brown's Da Vinci code same pace and action, with chills. What does Matt Addis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I must say this... I have a very good imagination, but Matt brought the story alive,I felt as though I was partaking in an on screen thriller. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was and I did,a listen fest carried it with me everywhere so I could listen and needed to know what was going to happen next.Any additional comments?
The wisest spend of my hard earned cash,I enjoy reading with a passion, but if listening is fashinonable then "Unspeakable" audio is the new black.Thrillingly scary

I'm afraid to say the narration left me cringing. The characters were given different voices, eg, the main character Rupert was portrayed as having an educated, Oxbridge accent, but then he would come in again with a broad dialect. It was annoying. Now comes the worst part. The voices of women must be challenging for male narrators to perform, but add in crying and wailing! Omg, this was painful. The narrtor has a great voice but he should leave the crying out.
OK, what to say
