As with book 1 and 2 Cal Lovett gets drawn into another case of a young man who disappeared from Edinburgh university at the end of his first term. He didn't want to pick up another case as the man he suspected of killing his sister was going to trial, the the trial was delayed. This is a very sorry story of close friends who betray trust and pick on the young man who was the poor relation in the group. I found the end very sad and I was very cross at the people who should have known better and left him to rot.
Suspect another book will come out shortly, can't wait.
