This book was such a perfect gateway into the world of why choose. It was entertaining, easy to read and had an all-Black cast! It had all the elements of fantasy I love. I can’t wait to discover more in book two and hopefully more world-building.

My only gripe with it is more a production issue on Micah’s pov, there were slight breathy sounds between lines which felt distracting. It may be the way it’s edited. But besides that, all good! Unto the next ❤️
