A deadly crash on the shores of a French abbey. A political conspiracy. A military lawyer betrayed. Captain Storm DeVries has been assigned to prosecute Major Skylar Diggs for joyriding twenty-eight souls to their deaths. She believes the Air Force has been too lenient with pilots who care more about their “Top Gun” antics than the value of human life. Storm is a general’s daughter and is just as loyal to the military as her father is. But there’s no doubt in her mind that Diggs is guilty. The question is whether she can prove it.

There are no witnesses, the cockpit voice recorder is missing, and Diggs isn’t talking. Then a mysterious phone call takes her down a path of secrets, lies, and conspiracies. Not only will it challenge the core of her beliefs, it’ll also lead her into grave danger. Will she have the courage to reveal what the most powerful military in the world is so desperate to conceal? Facing off with twisted conspiracies and explosive courtroom scenes, Storm DeVries navigates the land mines of the military justice system, proving that in the most formidable defense organization on earth, truth is the most dangerous weapon of all. (Each book can be listened to as a standalone.)

Uniform Justice By: KJ Sutherland, was such a great book. And, KJ Sutherland sure knew what she was doing. Because she never lost her plot. Like so many people do when they write military stories. This books shows the the lengths people will go to protect their careers. And that is truly scary. She has filled this book with so much tension and suspense. You can cut it with a knife. I did not want to stop listening. I was hooked to the very last word. I had to know what was going to happen. I was handing on to every last word.

Great legal thriller book!! I was not sure about this genre at first. But this book definitely keeps your attention the whole way through, The book is developed very well and you can tell the author has military and legal knowledge. I liked the twists and turns as we follow Storm's journey to seek justice and finding the CVR. The characters were interesting and I can't wait to see where that is in store in Book 2.

I really enjoyed Uniform Justice. The story pulled me in right away with the deadly crash and the mystery surrounding what really happened. Storm DeVries is a strong main character, and I liked watching her go from believing the case was straightforward to questioning everything she thought she knew.
There are plenty of twists, secrets, and courtroom drama that kept me wanting to know what would happen next. The military justice setting also made the story interesting and different from a typical legal thriller. I especially liked the way the conspiracy slowly came together as Storm searched for the truth.
Overall, this was an exciting and suspenseful read with a strong female lead. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys legal thrillers, military mysteries, and stories with plenty of twists.
