Story
Keri Wolf has joined the crew of The Seekers, a show that searches for paranormal phenomena, as they explore a supposedly haunted old inn on the road between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. The place is famous for its warm welcome - and infamous for being the site of an ax murder rampage in the 1920s. They’ve barely begun when a very real dead body is discovered in the basement. As a nonfiction author, Keri is supposed to be the rational one, but she can’t explain a terrifying apparition that seems to be both a threat and a warning.

Good story!
The overall story was good. But then Heather Graham has always been a good story teller!! No disappointment with this one at all!!
The narrator, while great at storytelling, had problems with the variety of voices needed. The biggest problem was all the men sounded like boys. She was not able to create the depth or resonance for a believable mans voice. I’m sure this is not an easy task. There were other nonconformities but I know it couldn’t be helped.
Overall, another great story. I am looking forward to the next.

Horrible narration
The story was okay but I kept getting wrapped up in my dislike for the narrator’s voice. She just didn’t have enough range and all the characters sounded the same.

Same old same
This is just ground covered previously by Graham. Tired old story line, no surprises or new plot. Even the ghost don't appear until 2/3 of the way through the story and then I'm not sure why they even bothered. The simpering female lead was too stupid to even gain any sympathy. If you are a Heather Graham fan and have heard her earlier works, don't bother with this one!

Disappointed to say the least
What would have made Unhallowed Ground better?
Story presented three mysteries at core. Left us hanging for the answer with no explanation for one. Solving or explaining third mystery.
Has Unhallowed Ground turned you off from other books in this genre?
No. I have read many of her books.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Big disappointment and confusion.

Terrible
Would you try another book from Heather Graham and/or Emily Durante?
Maybe
What could Heather Graham have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Write dialog for an adult book and not for preteen literature. The characters were supposed to be college educated professionals, not 12 year old's on an adventure.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator was awful. She made all the female characters sound like airheads that were about 12 years old. All the guys sounded like stupid jocks who were still in junior high school. She should have been narrating a cartoon adventure.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I actually couldn't finish the book because of the narration.
