Summary

Alvin was happy to finally give Gothy one of the things she’d been begging for all along - a plane.

So, he was understandably upset when it died in its first, short-lived flight as they helped the Red River Army Depot fend off a horde of zombies from Dallas.

Gothy was happy to get a replacement for the plane, however, and the armored vehicle sporting a BIG gun pleased Alvin as well. With the Bradley Fighting Vehicle in their possession, he couldn’t help but wonder what could possibly be a real challenge in the future.

Alvin made the decision that they would all take a few days to learn what the Bradley was capable of before they ventured further east. Its Bushmaster gun delivered a hell of a kick to anything with armor, though Alvin wondered how they could acquire TOW missiles or high-explosive ammunition to boost their damage even more.

After Alvin and his group wiped a miniboss out without so much as breaking a sweat, Alvin should have been expecting more changes to the game he now inhabited. After all, he seemed to be a nexus of Dev-elopments as the game went on.

This book contains adult situations, in all their horror and glory, including but not limited to sex, abuse, drug use, and murder. It also contains graphic sex scenes, which portray elements of BDSM and harem. You've been warned.

A great book

The storyline continues to develop and the banter only gets better. There is a increase and a future lost to the family. The world is being explored with many twists and turns. But yet they have not found the one thing they have been searching for.
Tess does a great job bringing the characters to life. She gives each one a unique personality!

Love the series

I love the series and generally love Tess Irondale as a narrator. Two small things Tess Irondale needs to address moving forward. First, the word Helo, (short for helicopter) is not pronounced hello. It’s pronounced He low. The UMP is not pronounced as a word but the letters are used. As in U, M, P. I know those are minor issues but every time she says hello instead of he low, my eye twitches.

It's pronounced He-low not Hello!

Helo, the abbreviation for helicopter, is pronounced 'he-low' not 'hello'. This is the correct military pronunciation that has been used for generations, how did the voice actors not know this? It's the only thing I couldn't stand about the book.

Military

Great book. Only complaint was the way the military was described. Each branch is vastly different on how bases are ran, and are a lot more like MC in the asshole make fun kind of way. Also Nellis doesn’t have Huey’s which are smaller than what the do have. HH-60’s or Pave Hawks.

really good

this is the best one yet in my opinion. Overall I have enjoyed the series. There were a couple scenes early on in the series that I hate it so much that I walked away and only after I had read some other things did I come back and give the series another shot with the next book. I'm glad now that I did. I'm hoping that I still feel that way after book 8 which currently is only available in e-book form. I'm not going to be waiting for the audio to drop. have the last book is like 811 Pages or the previous have been around 500. so fingers crossed and before I just want to say Well done to everybody who's had a hand in bringing the story to life and the narrator did a fantastic job.
