The story is good but I couldn’t get over how naive, trusting and spineless the main female character was. Couldn’t stand her really.
The first chunk of the story goes back and forth between present and 5 years previously. We find out what happened between the main couple and later on what her family did. The fact she just put up with stuff is utterly ridiculous. Can’t stand Maura.
Good narration, but a male voice would have made it better.
