About this listen

According to statistics reported by CDC in 2020, 1 in 54 children in the USA were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in 2016. The latest statistics in the UK show that there are 700,000 autistic diagnoses. It is suggested that boys are four times more likely to get a diagnosis of autism than girls.

Autism does not discriminate; it affects all ethnicities and socioeconomic groups. Symptoms can be slight to severe and everything in between. Getting the diagnosis and intervention early is better, however, unfortunately, this does not happen for all families.

Book one provides information about ASD diagnosis. Book two offers information and tips in for the different areas of potty training and helping your autistic child learn and practice their personal hygiene skills.

In book one:

  • Learn about the ASD diagnosis process
  • Learn to create routines that you and your child can easily manage
  • Discover simple ways to help your child develop their early interaction skills
  • Tips and tricks to manage your child’s anxiety
  • Learn about different types of speech/play therapy you can do at home

In book two:

  • The importance of potty training
  • Is your toddler ready for potty training?
  • Common hurdles you may encounter and their solutions
  • How to develop independence with personal hygiene
  • Teeth cleaning, nail cutting, bathing, hair brushing, and more

In the collection, you are getting two books that focus on a wide range of issues you might be facing and need help with. My next book will focus on the delays and disorders in speech and langue development and the therapies you can do at home.

In book one, you will also be able to access a free List of items you may need for your ASD child to make life a little easier and, you’ll be able to access a free step-by-step picture guide for potty training from a link in book two.

I didn't know much about autism before listening to this audiobook. It does a great job in explaining all about autism from diagnosis to helping your child develop their interaction skills, and even to personal hygiene. Very informative audiobook.

This 2 in 1 audiobook was full of beneficial information. The audiobook was split up into easy to implement sections. It was interesting to step into the world of a young child and, at least to a certain extend, understand both the difficulties they face and practical ways to make each day a little easier.

Packed with Such Useful Information!

This 2-in-1 combo is a complete help for parents with ASD children. It walks you through the process of diagnosis, the signs to look out for in ASD, various types of speech and play therapy to help you get by at home and all the tips on potty training and personal hygiene. Because the diagnosis process is not straightforward and can be lengthy, this complete back is your go-to while you wait to be accessed. The book prepares you for what to expect and has the answers to most of your questions. I would definitely recommend this book!

It’s obvious the author has a lot of experience in this field. My sister really enjoyed listening to this bundled audiobook because she has a child with Autism. She particularly found the advice on potty training and ways to interact with your child very useful. Great narration too!
