Loved every second of this honest recount of a surgeon's life which highlighted the complex lives led by these amazing people. A truly humbling and profoundly moving book which I would highly recommend to anyone.

A really useful companion book for anyone living through breast cancer and its aftermath. Liz shares some relatable stories and emotions. It’s such a difficult thing to live through and is an emotional listen for those who know. Sometimes the narrator needed to pause between paragraphs (but perhaps it was in the editing).

I loved this book. I am being treated for breast cancer. This was like listening to someone who understood my fears and what I have gone through. It also gave the realisation of how hard it is to be a surgeon.
