The narrator ruins it

I have listened to literally hundreds of audible titles and none of the narrators has been in any way lousy. Though obviously some are better than others. However, the narrator of this book managed to totally destroy my enjoyment of this book to the point I had to stop listening to it. For some reason she has an affextation of elongating the last syllable of each word. I challenge anyone not to find it unbelievably jarring and unnatural sounding. Totally bizarre.
