🎧📚🎧 Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum deliver an amazing performance, bringing the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting for a perfect portrayal of each. I loved how they took each role and made it their own sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Connor Crais nailed it as Otto, grasping every aspect of his personality and demeanor, from his battles with his inner demons to good heartedness and protective self. Desireé Ketchum was just as fabulous in Raven’s role, also grasping every aspect of her personality, from her fierceness to her longing and determination. Both were fantastic performing the roles as the side/secondary characters, too. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that elevates the story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Otto feels regret and guilt for the events of the past and he is determined to protect Raven, but he doesn’t believe they can ever be together. He has always made her feel safe but now that they are living together keeping her safe from him may be the biggest challenge of all.
Raven and Otto take us on an emotional and suspenseful journey you won’t be able to put down. Raven is strength and resilience is a perfect match for the protector in Otto as they show they are each other’s equals in every way. Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum do a wonderful job with the characters and you can feel the depth of their love through their portrayal.

These two were absolutely amazing in giving life to the characters. Their tone and emotions made me feel like it was real. It made me cry, hurt, laugh and fall in love.
Wow, this took me for an emotional ride. My first by this author and I was so glad I got to listen to it. The author has written an amazing story that was easy to fall in love with.
First I will say TW check is very very important as some things were very sensitive.
Otto 😍, he was such a complex character. With loving and protective nature he was still broken from his upbringing and a loss that's hard to move on from. Now he is breaking his promise to his brothers of their MC family because his need for vengeance is too strong. (I didn't blame him either).
Raven, she is such a sweetheart. She is funny, sweet, cheeky and full of sunshine. She refuses her past trauma to define her future. But her nightmares still haunt her.
Raven is Otto's best friends sister and they all kind of grown up together. Their connections is like no other and has been from the start. But Otto had to make a promise he will never make a move on her.
So when Raven moves out to Otto's place until she finds her own place, he is really struggling with the vow and his heart.
Raven doesn't make it easy on him either haha. I loved how she as with him and all the teasing. But when they connect it is absolutely beautiful and so raw, filled with so much love. He is absolutely obsessed and possessed by her. Love his don't even bother looking at her attitude haha.
But Otto needs to be on full alert and no distractions because someone is threatening Raven and plus he has a deep secret that will make him lose her (So he thinks).
What Otto doesn't know is that Raven has a bigger secret that she is scared what he will do when he finds out.
The suspense and action was so realistic. I did not guess at all who it could be. That twist was brilliant.
Loved the whole found family, brotherhood, banter, humour, emotions, love and the spice (Fanning myself). Oh and when he calls her his moon flower 😻.
I can't wait for more from this author.

What made this story even more outstanding was the incredible voices of Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum narrating this book.They sprinkled their magic through-out the pages and showcased their talents making it extra special.
A best friends brother romance Otto and Raven will steal your heart immediately as we get to know of their pasts and relish the chemistry they shared.
What I adored about them was their friendship they were so easy with eachother and I loved that it really warmed my heart.
The sexual tension and the anticipation of what would happen between them was perfection.
A.L.Jackson writes romance and grit with a flair that only she can orchestrate,always reeling me into whatever situation her characters are going through and making me swoon and fall in love with her male characters...Otto is delicious I adore him.
I really loved listening to this audiobook and I am already excited for more from Moonlit Ridge.
Excellent.

Raven and Otto’s relationship was always one that was just inexplicable. Ever since Otto introduced Maddie (his baby sister) to Raven, those two were inseparable… for the good parts and the bad ones.
Now, 7 years after Maddie’s death and 7 years after leaving LA, Otto still feels responsible for what happened (and what almost happened to Raven), and that is why he is so protective of her - or so he tells himself.
But what happens when the little girl he had in his mind grows up to become a beautiful women with a badass heart? And what happens when that women walks in on her brother (River) and her sister-in-law and decides to move in to Otto’s place …. Even though there is only one room?
Can Otto keep his feelings - and hands - to himself? Even after Raven telling him about her “crush”? And after all these years after he made a promise to River never to touch (or think) about his sister like that?
And, once it starts to blossom, can their relationship stand on its feet while there is someone from their past trying to seek revenge against Raven?
……… And will River ever forgive and accept Otto for breaking his promise?
