A bit of Becky Chambers crossed with Peter F. Hamilton with a smattering of Dennis E. Taylor. It is fast paced and compelling with relatable, flawed characters. Time travel and space opera blend without getting to heavy. It is inclusive and compassionate. Ren Hutchings is a unique and talented author, I can’t wait to read their next work.

A debut novel of friendship, time travel and mystery. Highly recommended for fans of Becky Chambers and its also refreshing that its a standalone. Would love more adventures though.
