Summary

When we were 11, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot jump. He lied.

(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)

I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton. But it wasn’t.

Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier - and the betting stakes higher - until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.

But 20 years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart. How many chances does true love deserve?

Loved the series💥💥💥💥💥

I loved Book 1 with Teddy and Savannah and really enjoyed Book 2 with Stephen Dexter. Savannah's character Chloe was all sassy yet vulnerable and had lots of spunk and spirit!!! Stephen's character Oliver could be spoiled, egotistical and selfish a lot, but he demonstrated some enduring moments at times. It's hard to get original story lines with over 600 books in your library but listening to Oliver and Chloe as kids, to teenagers, to young adults to adults was entertaining. The past and the present bought these two together endearingly. And I really like these narrators. Melanie Harlow is a great author. I love her writing and the humor, steam and chemistry in her books.

No for me

Story was good but. I like imperfect characters but I had difficulty to feel the love. It seemed more about sex. After stunt in Chicago I would like more groveling. Didn’t like at all swearing with F bombs and Lord’s name.

I was so excited for Chloe's story! Savannah and Stephen were perfect for these characters! I loved how this story spans so many year with every up and down along the way. the name Undeniable is absolutely perfect and so true to the story! Lots of push and pull.. I felt for them both and wanted to scream at them both at times lol. SO SO good! Can't wait for the next!

All the feels.

I don’t know how Melanie Harlow always gives me the warm and fuzzies at the end of her stories. Every single time I read one of her books I feel so happy inside.

Her stories always get me. I love the family dynamics. This one was so good bc the story goes back to their childhood.

I did not think that Oliver would be able to redeem himself but by some miracle he did. If anyone other than Stephen Dexter read it I don’t know that he would have been redeemable, but Stephen makes you fall in love.

I love Melanies books. I hope other get to have that warm butter belly feeling.

2nd time through

This is one of my favorite Melanie Harlow stories! I am relistening to the Cloverleigh Farms series because these were the first books I listened too and then realized there were so many back stories of the characters in her previous books. So I started at the beginning and am back to Cloverleigh now. I could’ve just skipped over it and gone to the next series but no way!

Sweet love story

I much preferred book 1 but this one did not disappoint. I was not a fan of the female narrators quoting of the male character... but I doubt I could do better. It was cringe-y though. Moving onto the next sister in the series now!

Childhood friends/enemies to Lovers

Chloe and Oliver have known each other since birth and did everything together and sometimes even got along. Now in their 30's, they have a chance to go into their dream business. Can Chloe trust Oliver? Will Oliver finally realize that Chloe is the one for him? I liked seeing the growing up flashbacks to see what is behind their relationship. This is a great second book in the series and I am looking forward to listening to the next one. Savannah Peachwood and Stephen Dexter were great narrators.

Childhood to Adult Love Story

Best friends as children they both fell in love with each other but were to afraid to admit it to each other. Both their families wanted them to end up together before they knew they wanted that to. They both wanted the same business when they grew up.

I couldn't find the storyline...

Listened for about an hour; there was no hook, nothing to draw me in. The characters were flat, one-dimensional. Narration was also a bit difficult to listen to. Absolutely no attachment to any character.

Loved it

Having read the first book in the Cloverleigh Farm series, I was excited to see what Melanie Harlow had in store for Chloe Sawyer.

I knew Chloe would need a strong and determined man to capture and keep her heart. I was a little surprised by Oliver Ford Pemberton who I had a bit of trouble liking initially.

Oliver may be hot and charming but he is also the one who broke Chloe’s heart. Now he is back wanting another chance. The question is will Chloe put everything on the line for Oliver?

Chloe is such a fabulous character. She is strong, determined, feisty and above all committed to her family.

The chemistry between Chloe and Oliver is intense and it only intensified as the story progresses. There is a fine line between love and hate and Undeniable is a great example of this. The banter between them was at tines frustrating and humorous.

The secondary characters were awesome, particularly Oliver’s grandmother, who was so funny at times all the while calling a spade a spade.

Another great read from Melanie Harlow and i look forward to reading more in this series soon.
