Summary

"A vampire, his human lover, and their friends and families try to stop a powerful enemy’s devilish scheme in this final installment of an erotic supernatural series." ~Kirkus Reviews

Erin Hamilton follows Dante Gabriel back into hell - the underground compound where he was held for a decade - to confront the woman who held him captive. Finally unmasked, she seems to hold Dante under her influence. Erin has faith in Dante’s strength and determination, though, especially when the mysterious Vampyre Texts reveal their first secret.

Dante struggles to regain his control, even as he grows stronger and the darkness rises within him. He’ll let his captor think she commands him as long as it serves his purpose, but if Erin or anyone else is threatened, all bets are off. He’ll use all his powers against her, whether or not he can master them.

Time is running out, however. Dante must act quickly to free those imprisoned, especially when he learns what his captor has in mind. His new abilities keep those around him protected until she who calls herself Queen plays her trump card. Dante must face one last foe...and only one can emerge undefeated.

Aaaaahhhhh!

This review is for this whole series. I saw that it was recommended on the Romance Package a few weeks ago so decided to take a listen. However, selecting this was a huge mistake. I wonder did the narrators bust up laughing with writing material? I did, I had so much eye rolling it was pathetic. I actually finished the whole thing to make sure "the Queen" was dead and why Dante was taken and tortured. If I heard "fight or die in the arena" one more time! It is amazing that this day and time, the heroine lets some vampire jerk order her around and sounds so pathetic. If there is anything that needs to be discussed between them, he over powers her and they immediately have sex at the most inappropriate times and situations. Their lives are in danger, they have sex. Her plussing "p****y" and his throbbing "c**k" comments were ridiculous! No one has this much sex. I know it is the paranormal but come on!

Holy gingivitis!

I'm trying to get to the end of the story, but at the last few minutes of the end of the series and I'm thinking that it's going to be open-ended and she probably won't finish it.! However, I would like to add. That she always talks about them kissing each other's mouths and they lick each other's teeth and gums and all of it! It literally makes me gag. I have never kissed a man like that and I can't imagine anybody else has either! Like for real why the fuck would you lick their nasty ass teeth doesn't matter if you just brushed them or not. This bitch is has never been in a real relationship!

Book ending

The ending was so anticlimactic. You read 15 books and the last book was really, that's how this ends. Disappointed!

I really liked the story line But.

I did not care for the female narrator all that much. She has a very bad tendency to not finish her words and it sounds like she has a lisp or something and that is not okay for someone who uses their voice in a career that people have to listen to if they want to hear the audiobook and the two hour and so short books is a crock. Luckily I was able to get three books at once. Smart when they finally combined three books together but it should not have been necessary in the first place.
This particular author is extremely bad about writing short books and charging to much money for each little short book that has way to many damn cliffhangers!!!! It's unfortunate really because she is a
good writer other than sometimes adding in a crap load of unnecessary fillers.
But other than all of the above I liked story. Oh and she is good about adding humor into her writing along with the rest of her interesting stories.

Great ending

I'm so disappointed that the publisher pulled the last books, so we won't see what happens with the council. Thankfully we got a resolution to Dr. Bonavils craziness. (I'm sure I spelled her name wrong since I listen to it and don't read it).
All in all a great series and I will return to this author's work

All of the books in this series were must amazing. I could not wait to get to the next one. The narration was great, I loved how they used a man and women to read the story.

Seriously cringe worthy

In what world is it sexy for a man to essentially force himself on you? In the beginning of the series there was consent between the two but by the end he is forcing himself upon her by yelling NOW like a damn Neanderthal. Sex scenes thrown in just to take up space on a page, not needed, necessary nor do they make sense in the situation. Super repetitive. This is my 2nd series by this author and I'm done. I tried but I spend half my time annoyed vs enjoying the story.
