Unbroken is the second book in the The Pirate and Her Princess series, a new swashbuckling adventure series set within a fictional world. This book could possibly be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest reading this series in order for full enjoyment.

Lou, aka the feared pirate Cinder, is a fascinating character and I loved getting a more in depth look into how she thinks and operates. The plot was fast paced with a lot of action. I was instantly sucked into the story. I also enjoyed seeing the growth and development of Lou’s relationships: from George, her love, to the mysterious Whit.

The audiobook was narrated by Emily Woo Zeller who does a fantastic job. Emily voiced each of the characters perfectly and really brought the action scenes to life. The audiobook production was well done.

This book is so refreshingly different and I loved it. The action, the continued development of the relationship between Lou and George, and Emily Woo Zeller's performance made for an unforgettable listen. If FF is a new genre for you, or if you don't normally read/listen to anything "historical," I encourage you to listen to this book. All Temple is an amazing writer and I can't express how much I enjoyed this. Absolutely stellar.

This was amazing.
Full of swashbuckling daring do we once again find ourselves on the high seas.
There's adventure, drama, danger and plenty of twists and turns including betrayal.
Emily Woo Zeller did an amazing job conveying the sense of adventure and action.

I absolutely loved reading Cinder and Georgina in this continuation of their story. This narration brought it to the next level and it is simply marvelous. You will be entranced by the narrator's ability to bring all of them to life. Dynamic and incredible!
