About this listen

The Buddhist Psychology book is not just another book to share some information about Buddha and Buddhism. This book is actually an opportunity for every listener to reach a deeper aspect of life, through this tunnel of Buddhism teachings. It will be an interesting ride that will make you wonder about different dimensions of life. The central aim of the book is to help the listener understand the larger aspects of three universal truths, four noble truths, eightfold path, and 12 links to origination, but the context is not limited to the above mentioned numbers and topics. It allows us to dive deeper in the analytical approach to decode the mind, and the circle of life. What makes us humans? What other worlds are there? Can we make an effort towards getting a human life again in rebirth? Can we get a life higher than human existence? All these questions will be answered as you move along the path of this book. When you finish, you will be able to understand the aspect of suffering, its causes, and its end. Your lives will not be a pursuit of materialistic rewards, but it will turn into a pursuit of calmness. You will weave a wonderful path to the sensible broad view of existence, out of the knowledge of these teachings, and the understanding of life.

I’ve always been interested in Buddhism and curious to what it can bring into your life. After listening to this bundle I’ve definitely gained a far more open mind and can now start using elements of Buddhism in my own life. I loved learning about some of the history of Buddhism and different types of meditation, particularly the zen meditation techniques. The narration was good and had a nice tone for an audiobook like this. If you want to learn the basics and more about such a peaceful religion then this is for you!

Interesting, enlightening and full meditation techniques!

The sections that touched on other realms or worlds were fascinating, not because of fantasy but because of what they represent. I learned that these aren't literal places (at least not necessarily), but they reflect states of mind and being. It expanded my idea of “reality” in a way that was metaphorical but still insightful. It wasn’t about believing in heaven or hell, it was more about seeing how we cycle through states in this life. That metaphor really deepened my understanding.

Being someone new to Buddhism this value stack really gave clarity as to what it is and the importance of the practice. The number of meditation techniques was helpful. I also particularly liked the second book regarding zen because I knew nothing about that. Very interesting and insightful!

More than giving answers, this book gave me better questions to ask. I learned that not knowing is actually part of the journey, and that doubt isn’t a weakness. The book frames life’s mysteries as something to walk toward, not solve instantly. That helped me relax into the learning process. It made Buddhism feel more open-ended and less rigid than I expected.

The book introduced me to a broader view of what it means to be human, beyond just biology or personal success. I learned that being born human is considered rare and valuable in Buddhist teachings, and that perspective really stayed with me. It made me reflect on how I spend my time and what I prioritize. It’s not about fear of the next life but more about appreciating this one. That shift in mindset was subtle but meaningful.
